When you sign up for Vibiee, we ask for a username, an email address, and a password. We also store the posts you create, the images you upload, the comments you make, and who you choose to follow. That's about it. We don't ask for your phone number, your contacts, or your location history. We don't want them.
We use your data to run the site. Your posts are shown to your followers. Your likes and comments are public. Your email is only used if you forget your password. We don't sell your data to brokers, we don't use it to train AI models without asking, and we don't feed it into a hyper-optimized advertising algorithm—because we don't have ads.
Nobody, unless the law absolutely forces us to. We use third-party providers to host the servers and store the images, but they act on our behalf and are not allowed to mine your data for their own purposes.
If you want out, you can delete your account from the settings page. When you hit delete, we hard-delete your profile, posts, comments, and likes from our active database immediately. Some data may linger in secure offline backups for a few weeks before being overwritten.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. That's it. We don't use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or cross-site fingerprinting scripts. There is no cookie consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
If we ever fundamentally change how we handle your data, we'll let you know. But the goal of this site is to remain simple, so don't expect many changes here.
